The coolest thing about the Airoh is that it has a tint sheild on the inside that flips up and down.


You can only get that helmet on Ebay or from Europe. They are in the works with the DOT with selling in the states.

 

yea man, i went on the r1 forums and discussed it with a few peeps. couple of doods swear by the helmet even better the shoei. and said the helmet is just fine at high speeds. even though the nose is flat your nose should be protected by the windscreen regardless

 

bah i looked everywhere, ebay and froogle even googled it and i couldnt find anywhere that sold the airoh tr1 chrome... i wish i would of known this a month ago i would of had my gf pick me up 1 while she was in europe...

Helmets

 

I was into this shit a while ago...problem with the helmets are that they are modular (meaning the face guard portion separates)...not convienced on the safety....i posted this thread a while ago...

Personally, I wouldn't feel comfortable betting on a thin piece of plexi to protect my nose. The visor is usually the first thing that pops off when you hit your head. Rick, I do suggest that you try one on and go with a smaller, better fitting size; your Shoei is too big.
