good or bad stunt bike
i am looking for a stunt bike for cheap. if any one has let me know. but i have seen fz1 for cheap and are like street fighter style bikes. i was wondering if these bikes would make good stunt bikes. i know their basically the same as r1 or r6 but come with different handle bars and are usually carburated instead of the fi. its sits a lil differents cause of the straighter handle bars, but i see that people change the bars to that style anyways. Am i just better sticking with a f4, r6 gsxr6 or are these street fighter style bikes make a good bike too.
Stick with a 600 cc street bike, they weigh less than a liter bike and easier to manage. Every stunter that I know uses around a 600 cc bike. There are some guys out there using liter bikes. I would not use an FZ600, their setup is not what you want to use. Not saying you can't, but I wouldn't.

As I understand it, there can be problems with holding carbureted bikes in long wheelies. It has to do with the float bowl being held at the wrong angle with no additional forces acting to keep the fuel in the bowl properly.
Double check the FZ1 to see if it's actually fuel injected. If it is, I can't imagine any other reason why it wouldn't be as good a stunter as any other sportbike. The FZ1's were tuned for a broader power curve and more torque, with translates into smoother power delivery which I imagine would be helpful for stunting.
All that said, a dual sport bike or motard seems like a better choice yet. Being based on a dirtbike it should stand up to abuse better than I'd expect a sportbike to.
Good luck finding a new toy!
