Everything I have read about helmet safety standards prove the Snell approved Helmets are harder than the Euro standards... thus transfering the most G forces to our sensitive brains...

Euro safety standards are better since the shells are softer thus absorbing some of the impact as it is distributed through the shell...

 

That helmet is missing the O2 hoses, Chad... don't get ripped off

+1 you are correct....to obtain DOT approval, the outer core must be harder, however, science is proving that the shell should be designed to break or "give", but not separate upon serious impact. From what i understand the British have been making most of the scientific advances and the British standards may be the "best" overall for your real protection...

it still think it looks crazy and i have been wondering why someone didnt do something similar before this....

i didnt notice this until just last night, but the damn thing is has 2 sheilds on it...the clear outersheild and a very darkly tinted shield that it inside the clear sheild....you dont have to switch, just raise up the inner dark shield!! pretty fugging cool!!

 

The more I look at it the more It grows on me...

But the real question is... does it come with the joystick to replace the clip-ons?
