today a was riding and I ended up talkin 2 a guy at a gas station who obviously knew about bikes and told me " thats a nice 636 u got the wire mod on it?"... i said "ummm now its pretty much stock cept a air filter...whats the wire mod?"... he ended up sayin sum stuff like i hardwire sumtin to a exhaust regulator or something and over a certain rpm's it keeps it wide open... he claims it gives a 10 hp gain dyno proven... all it is is hardwiring something... i was j/w if any of you ever heard of this or have it?

it literally takes like 13 seconds..i did it to another member on this sites bike and it took no time...havent done it to mine due to not having a valve any more.You pop the seat off,find the harness with 4 wires that is capped off,and bridge the connection on the color wires that the site says,put cap and seat back on and go.

 

The article says it can't be done to 04 and older.....so here's my stupid question for the day..... Can it be done to my 06 because he's talking about doing this to his 05 in the article?
