Remember the Riders
http://remembertheriders.com/index.html
http://remembertheriders.com/images/home_head.gif Motorcycle fatalities continue to increase each year. Express your outrage at this tragic waste of life and remind drivers that motorcycle safety depends on us all. Remember the Riders is an ongoing awareness initiative that encourages motorcyclists to remind the public when a local rider loses his or her life. The more people are aware, the more they can contribute to a positive change. http://remembertheriders.com/index.html http://remembertheriders.com/images/...back_sm004.gif http://remembertheriders.com/images/...back_sm005.gif http://remembertheriders.com/images/...back_sg001.gif http://remembertheriders.com/images/spacer.gif http://remembertheriders.com/images/spacer.gifhttp://remembertheriders.com/images/head_lastrides.gif Sadly, motorcyclists around the country are killed every day. By calling attention to these fatalities, we hope to reflect the magnitude of these losses -- to riders, families, and all of us. I remember seeing that oversees commercial about looking for motorcycles and was wondering if there was anything in the US! This is good! I think motorcycle awareness should start in Driver's Ed and continue to be re-iterated. Good post!

You know it's kind of like the people that put tribute vinyls on their cars, maybe the bike scene should throw something on the back of their helmets.
I know whenever I get a bike I'm gonna put a www.ride2die.com vinyl on the back of my helmet. Drivers will notice it because it's a website and it implies death so you know they'll see it. At least while you're riding you're advocating the awareness I was also thinking about going to various high schools and in one of their required classes to be a speaker for a day. I used to alwasy love speakers in high school, cause you didnt have class and you got to see some pretty gory stuff. Just some more thoughts |
They say a man can't cry and if you can't you have no heart. Tears are shed for the riders we lose everyday. Are angels above us.
