dont see why not if you have the propper permit. should be the same rules as a glove box.

my guess would be yes even without a permit as you don't need a permit for your car.

Yes, that's securely encased in a vehicle, so you're good to go. Cops still believe there's a 3 step rule though, so even though you're legal, you're still probably taking a trip to the jail hotel.

I carry a .38 on my leg.

yeah as long as its three steps, but you most likly are going to get the small end of the stick on this one, since you are on a sport bike. so no matter what, your going to be making a short trip.

thats bullshit. there is no 3 step rule. as long as the gun is in something you have to physically open to get to it. EX- i could have a glock in a holster with a velcro latch rollin around on the floor of my car and be legal. cause i have to open the holster to pull the gun. in reality you could just throw the gun lossely in the trunk of your bike with no issues. if you get stopped you probably will go to jail but then turn it around on them for wrongful arrest. happens everyday. but what do i know i only keep the law book as my bible

Not sure why you would want to do that. Its not going to do any good being inside the trunk. Just get the permit and keep it on you. Its not that expensive.
