I have seen them used on some high powerd bikes with out any problems. You really should not need more than 6", when you go longer than that it looks like a wheel chasing a motorcycle. This bike should be less than 60"

4 to 6" is all you should need. I have seen 1 set of these come apart on a Busa and know of another set failing on a Turbo Busa (caused major damage).
They are fine on stock bikes as long as you get good ones. Watch out for the generic cheap ones though.

They are good and sturdy with a stock/ semi stock bike. But once you get into the 175+hp range, they have a hard time taking a good launch. Dont get me wrong though. You can ride around all day with a set of extensions on a Turbo bike and be fine, but one really good hard launch at the drag strip could just tear them apart.

Don't forget that you may need a new rear brake hose also. Are doing this for the look or so that you can drag race it? If it is to race I would slam it first, that will make it much more ridable, and you may not need to stretch it.

I like stock wheelbase personally... easier to handle overall.
However, I longer wheelbase does add value when the intent is to lower times when racing.

I agree. The bike will feel really big after you stretch it I would just lower it first. That is cheaper and you are going to need that stuff if you get the extentions.

I wanna stretch it so i can keep my wheelies to a minimum... (have to keep my driving record clean for my job).

But i didnt want to get a full swing arm because sometimes ill hit up the spot for some wheelies and crap.

Seems like everywhere i go im cluthin that damn thing up...
