I see this shit all the time. Assholes with new bikes who think that if u don't own the lastest shit that they can sit there and talk shit about u, and all that shit. 2 wheels is fucking 2 wheels, wether ur riding a 2004 r1 or a 2004 'busa or gsx-r, or a fuckin '89 gsx-r or a 250 ninja. It doesn't really happen to me, but i've went out riding w/ my friend who has a '00 ninja 250 and i hear people talking shit all the dam time, so i go up to them and i start tearin them a new asshole. Everyone starts somewhere and some people just can't afford the newest shit. So to all you assholes fuck off.

 

there are elitist assholes in every sub-culture... mototrcycles is probably one of the best as far as that goes, usually everyone is cool...

 

Ninja 250s SUCK!!! haha, j/k. A bike's a bike, like you said. I don't talk shit about anyones bike, but since you're obviously still mad about the gixxer thread, I will say this:

Suzuki makes the most wonderful sportbikes in the world. GSXRs are so unfathomably faster than any other bike that they shouldn't even be street legal. To ever even consider taming one of these beasts, you must have the riding skills of an AMA racer, and no less than 300 track days. If I ever got on a suzuki, I would surely kill myself as even the slightest twist of the throttle would throw my novice ass to the pavement. Thats why I am thankful to Yamaha for creating bikes just a little crappier, so people like me can ride too.

 

Yeah...I agree.
I ride with a guy that rides an older FZR600...and he hits the twisties harder than I do. I cant even come close to hanging with him. The bike doesnt make the rider, its all about rider skill level.

And my first bike was a nasty 1997 Kano-tuna...everyone's gotta start somewhere.

 

i know what u talking about - i used to had a 500ex. i didn't know that "bikers" hang out at the Race Track gas station over Gandy on fri. as i pulling in all i see is queers posing in front of their bike while looking at me and laugh even the one that doesnt ride. this is the reason i never ride with anyone. or meet any of them.

 

i hang out w/ a good crew, we have me, a guy on an 03 zx6r, a 02 buell xb9r, ninja 250, TL1000S, buell blast, '93 ninja zx6, and an 89 honda interceptor. we don't care what kinda bike u have as long as ur riding.

 

yeah i hear ya people are kinda weird if they dont like it then you shouldn't be on it. funk that! i wnet a little different way this time after 3 gixxers i decided on a 1800 cc crusier that will hang with most sport bikes and beat some and the old crew i used to ride with has slowly dwindeled away from me. in short people suck make your self happy and cool people wont care what you like they will just enjoy the common interest.

 

indeed. I don't flame on older bikez... to be honest I like the older (96-99/00(depending on 600 or 750) style.. They are the hotness X 1000000000!!!!! I love them. I don't really care for the 250's but then again no one has had one that I know.. i don't flame the 500's because I mean everyone starts out somewhere.. cruisers usually hate sport bike people but I've found that if you go north to like.. hernando county they wave(which surprised the shit outta me the first couple times I rode up there.) Yes I did have a gixxer 600 brand new for a first bike and yeah there was this one guy with an older hurricane and yes I flamed him bc he tried racing me... but after the race I smiled waved as a gesture of thanks for the fun and take it easy.. my other friend had an f2 and I saw nothing wrong with it. My parents ride harleys and I ride with my dad often or as often as possible should I say. Matter of fact I'm riding to Daytona with my mom on the back of his bike and SexyLexie on the back of mine. Kinda like a big family. Everytime I am home for such event me and my dad ALWAYS ride together.. it doesn't really matter. I've ridden with a guy I work with that has a buell although he and I both know and openly discuss it's performance compared to sport bikes. We both agree it's not a sportbike and know it's meant for a different purpose. I like his bike and he likes mine. The best part is that he's not a dick towards me bc of my bike and I'm not towards him. I don't always try "flexing" on him when we ride and he doesn't try gettin me around the corners (now atleast.. before I prolly coulda took him.. ) but it's just fun to ride with people you like. I can't stand riding with people I think are pricks for one reason or another. It makes the ride unpleasureable. That's why most the time I ride by myself or with cars beside or behind me.

 

I draw the line at scooters and mopeds, otherwise, 2 wheels is 2 wheels.
