do you have to be 21 to get your permit or just the license ? im going to take the class but im really busy so am i able to take the written test ? or do i have to be 21 ? please let me know thanks !

u can get a writen test from DMV for a temporary liscence for 3 months? after that u can keep take it over and over till certain amount of times i think. - this is for if u got a bike but no liscence but don't wanta get busted.

 

i kno this may sound stupid..but do u have to have a motorcycle license to own and drive one on the road?im only 18 and im contiplating on whether to get a bike or not..never have rode one before..my friend was goin to teach me..but i was just gonna buy one and ride it..

 

No, you dont have to have a motorcycle license to OWN a bike.
Yes, you DO have to have a motorcycle license to drive one.

Or you can get a temp. permit from the DMV to ride...but they expire within 3 months (I believe). I think you have to take a written test to get this permit.

You should take the MSF course. Pain in the ass because it takes three days and cost so much, but its worth it. You'll be motorcycle licensed for life.

(I feel like I work for the DMV with all these repeating licensing questions.)
