Oval drags? Sounds interesting. Are cars broken into classes? Is it side by side racing? Is it a solo timed run? How many runs do you get, how many cars are expected to compete on a usual basis. Thanks for posting.

Oval Drags: Stand still start and first person person back after the lap is copleted wins.

There isnt gonna be any classes but you can line up who you want to line up by.
You get practace 8-10 and we are going to run elimination rounds.
Its hard to say right now how many will be competing.

Well that's all fine and dandy until some moron gets pissed that he's losing and punts a car into the wall.

I've seen it happen with "spectator racing" at Bronson Raceway, which is the same deal. How do you expect to police it?

We will have a full staff of security on premisis. this is why the flyer says no bad attitudes, If we see a person is upset about something we will tell him/her to calm down or he/she is allowed to leave.

We will only be running 2 cars at a time. Sunshine Speedway used to run this and i never really saw them have a problem.

Thanks Mike,

Crazy! I'm not too sure I would want to get out there and run door to door with some mullet in a old Chrysler Cordoba on white walls. Sounds fun, but scarey. I'd like to see it in person though.

Just saying they have the same deal up here near Gainesville, and people HAVE hit each other. I can't take that risk with my daily driver. I trust myself not to hit the walls, but I don't trust numbnuts next door to me to be as smart.

Do they have the "Cruiser" class at the circle tracks here? That was a very popular and cheap way to go racing back in Kansas. Still pretty scary, but at least you weren't putting your daily driver on the line. (just your life )
