By: Kelly Crandall | January 11, 2019 6:41 AM A new era for Jimmie Johnson and the No. 48 Hendrick Motorsports team has begun with the unveiling of the Ally Chevrolet paint scheme.Ally, a digital financial services company, has replaced Lowe’s as Johnson’s full-season sponsor for the 2019 and 2020 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series seasons. Lowe’s and Johnson were partnered together from 2001-2018, winning seven championships and 83 races together.The No. 48 car will continue to have a black base, which is what Johnson drove last year.
