Track Attack at The FIRM is a new rally racing series that we will be hosting this year. The basic format of the events will be similar to that of a typical SCCA or NASA Rally Cross but there are some key differences. The main difference will be the 50/50, tarmac to gravel course. The racers will have to navigate through many dirt to pavement transition in every event so staying sharp will be key. The main goal is to give the racers out there a real racing experience and to allow them to push there skills beyond the limit. As we have learned through many years of training, a course with alternating surfaces is the best way to push those limits.
The 2015 season will have around 8 to 12 events through the year. You will earn points at each event and all will add up at the end of the year. All the racing is done here, on our 430 acre training facility where we have plenty of area to setup many challenging courses. Expect to see racing on our professional road course and the surrounding gravel roads. This is our first year so we are starting small, but we would like to have fully caged cars racing wheel to wheel very soon. So come in and join the fun!
