Local Racer in National Magazine
Congrats to Darrin DiSimo! His car got pictured on page 71 of the August 2009 edition of Sports Car Magazine, the official magazine for SCCA.
The terrible pictures below are from my camara phone. Sorry, but I figured any visual was better then no visual.
The caption reads:
At the Blythville, Ark., National Tour, Darrin DiSimo ran away from the E Prepared field, winning by more than four secounds.
I've never met Darrin, but I've seen his car at a few Brooksville autocross events. The sponsor on the car is Tampa Bay Orthopaedic Specialists.

The car and driver/owner Howard Sharf are very well known around here. Darrin is very well known by those that participate at the national level or attend GCAC events. He has been autocrossing Miatas since long before any of us had heard of autocross. His success in Howard's car isn't a big surprise.
