BMW CCA may 17th results up
THanks to all that came out. We had about 50 cars. 8 runs. No rain. So all was well,

It was a really good course with 3 areas where the driver needed to make a choice. Thanks to Dennis for the course design. I know its a good one when Danny comes back in from his 2nd run and says he is having trouble deciding what way to enter the slalom.. etc.. He still got FTD. but it took him a while to figure it out.
Thanks Mars for coming out and taking photos. Cant wait to see them.

Tough course indeed, fast results.....fun event...... guess I ended up 4th overall..... 2nd on street tires WAY behind Danny...

good to hear you guys had a good event . too much driving for me for one day to make it to the event since i couldn't go into work late today

I see people out there spending money on the car to improve it … If you spend half that effort just working on your driving skills, making you and the car work together as a team, then you’ll go faster – period. To make the car go a second faster on the track takes a lot more energy and money than making yourself drive it one second faster.

yea I like all of them except the close ups of the drivers.. Mainly me.. It looks like I am not having fun.. ANd I was.. But i needed about 3 more runs to get the sliding the back end out down. Since the car was to big.. Guess Ill have to bring out the Ti next time.

This video just reminded me, WAY too many cones on this course..... at speed choosing where to place the car in a few places was very difficult, especially the return portion of the course.... all fast....... the number of "off courses" speaks for itself.
It could have been challenging without being unnecessarily hard to read.
