Thanks Angela (State Champion SML). It was a great time.
Mary was working the clip board at station 5 when you ran so she couldn't get video of your runs this time. Congratulations on the win! |
Thanks to Mary for shooting the Videos.
Congrats to Angie for the Championship. Way to go. |
Thanks.
While attendance awards give me memorabilia, being there did help me gain more experience but in the end not having competition did not push me to where I know I can drive. Next season, starting in January for me, I am entering the open class locally so that I am pushed to drive better. And I really need that if I ever want to be more competitive on a National, Divisional, State and Regional level in which I will go to the Ladies class. Reality is that my car will probably not ever be fully built to a full Street Mod classification but that doesn't mean my driving can't push the competition harder. |
Great Move Angela. Open class competition will make you faster and more motivated.
Ask Jean Kinser, or Shauna Marinus if you need to run Ladies class to win national championships. Shauna Started auto crossing seriously in 1993, won I think 95-97 in ladies and then '98 in open class. as a National champion. In retrospect I think I was more attracted to her performance then her in general, but you know girls that can drive are one of my weaknesses. |
