I see people out there spending money on the car to improve it … If you spend half that effort just working on your driving skills, making you and the car work together as a team, then you’ll go faster – period. To make the car go a second faster on the track takes a lot more energy and money than making yourself drive it one second faster.

OK I have entered all the numbers and Before I even started counting points I decided to go with Marks point system
First place = 11 points
Next 5 = 10 points
Next 5 = 8pts
Next 10 = 5
Next 10 = 2
Next 10 = 1
Using this scoring
PCA 59 points
and
BMW 122
Now more BMWs showed up.. so that helped..
So if we just count 14 of each.
PCA 59
BMW CCA 100
Here are the times..
First place = 11 points
Next 5 = 10 points
Next 5 = 8pts
Next 10 = 5
Next 10 = 2
Next 10 = 1

Nice driving guys. Wow.
I'm thinking the guys in the PCA that actually make the desicions are not going to like my points system idea. Just a hunch.
It was really nice of Sharron to lend me her expensive car. Very sweet ride.

I looked at simply dropping the 2 slowest drivers (giving 14 each like BAM mentioned) and then just summing the times, and the PCA still received a solid hammering.
The total BMW time lead was 23.243 seconds.
The average times were 59.242 vs. 60.765. That looks like a very solid win.

How about just counting the top 3 or 4 spots and ignoring the rest?
