Default Oval Track Saturday night, Rallycross sunday.

We are trying to tie in East bay's Rallycross events with the tracks normal Saturday night racing. if you've ever seen 20 500 HP cars fight wheel to wheel on dirt for a cash prize it's something to behold.

Then for those from out of town, camping is free and you'll already be at the track for Sunday's rally cross.

March Lion tie-in event. (watch racing Saturday night, rallycross Sunday)

For those wanting to come up on Saturday night and watch. (Or compete) in East Bay speedways Oval track racing they will be running the following classes Saturday night from 6-9pm

LLM = Limited Late Models
LM = Late Models
OWM = Open Wheel Modifieds
O = Outlaw 4's
SS = Street Stocks
LS = Limited Sprints
360 = 360 Sprints
B = 4 Cylinder Bombers

Rules and classes can be found at East Bay Raceway Park

tickets are as follows:

Regular season Grandstand admission - adults $12 , senior citizens 55 & up $10, teenagers 13-17 $7 with student ID, 12 and under free with paying adult. Regular season Pit admission - Adults $25 12 and under $15. Racing starts at 6:30 every Saturday.

Camping is in the BIG grass field ACROSS Burt's road, directly facing the Front gate, and is free to anyone attending the events. Don't set up camp inside the gate you will be asked to move.

Anyone that is going to the oval track for the first time, email or call me, we can tag up at the track and I'll buy you a beer.

I see people out there spending money on the car to improve it … If you spend half that effort just working on your driving skills, making you and the car work together as a team, then you’ll go faster – period. To make the car go a second faster on the track takes a lot more energy and money than making yourself drive it one second faster.
