*Continued from the old topic that had a glitch in it*

Oh dont worry. Ill hit that 14.9! Id be running right with you VelocityGSR if I had your tranny in my car.

And you ask how Im so sure I can hit that 14.9? Today I beat a rival at my school in pasco. He drives a 95 Ford Mustang GT. Hes got a computer/exhaust/header/intake/with a big fat heavy hood for looks! Im not sure what he runs now but he claims to have run 14.8 stock!?!?

I raced my car so hard against him I think I seriously screwed my 3rd gear. Thats what happens when tons of your class-mates are watching the event.

Oh and did I fail to mention that I won? When we hit 130 his front bumper was at my back tire. We raced twice to make sure it wasnt a fluke. Beat him again.

All Ive gotten done since my 15.2 @ 94mph has been a straight pipe instead of my cat. I feel a HUGE improvement in my vtec. Pulls much harder and damn near makes my hand come off the steering wheel with such torque!

That third gear synchro problem is all the more reason you should get a new tranny instead of other go fast parts. If you decide to go through me I can also rebuild your tranny so you could sell it and recoup some of the money spent on the new trans and then you could spend that money on go fast parts. Its a win win proposition!

I love the cold. Except its not good for my car. My traction is already bad enough and it makes it like soooooo much worse.

APEXi LS/R;
If your running a 94mph in the 1/4mile you should be running around a 14.6 or 14.7. Whats your 60ft times?

hehehe... I was running 14.5s all night Friday with my street tires... 103+ mph. Damn I was glad to switch to slicks for the end of the night... that mph and times are dead on from everything I see at the track. Takes about a 2.2 60 time to get it.

My 60 ft times have never been good. 2.3 or 2.4 on my 14 inch Konig Tuner on toyo proxie shitrubber h rated.

Everyone says I should be feathering the gas off the start but I havnt been to the track to try that yet. I usually drop it at around 3400 rpms and that seems to give me the best start. 2700 on the street. And nobody knows how I beat cars on the street that I lose to at the track...

remember though that speedometers are horribly inaccurate at high speeds.. best and only way is to find the curcumfrence of your front tires take your engine rpm multiply it by your final ratio and multiply that by your circumfrence...

we got 134 and some change out of my mustang... and theyre speedo only reads 85mph... hahaha
