Default Looking for tracks in FL and GA

Besides the obvious. Road Atlanta, sebring, Homestead and Moroso.

I am looking for a track that can be rented out for the weekend. It needs to be able to handle about 40 - 50 cars at the Same time out on the track. Paved. not to worried about getting some dirt or oil on the surface.

Ideally a turn key with corner workers, Medical and towing vehicles.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Barry

40-50 cars on track is a huge track. The rule of thumb is 10 per mile. Anything more than that is usually crowded. The only decent sized track you let out is Roebling Road. Going up into SC there is also CMP. Other than that, they are all small tracks like gainsville. There are also some ones in AL.

Spend some time at ChasinRacin Race Track Locator-- best online source of track info I've found.

The event is designed for some every tigh packs. even unintentional contact.. so anything around 1.5 in size would work.

Ill check the track locator.. thanks..

jennings is to narrow. And they are REALLY picky on keeping the track clean.. IE No OIL. since Bikes run on it.

Thanks for the heads up.. But I would really be suprised if they allow cars.

Traffic and contact? Are these fully caged cars? I don't know of any tracks that don't enforce "school rules" for non-sanctioned events.

Sounds like the Lemons may be coming to Florida. Woo Hoo!

Hope this plays out.

2 of the 3 Lemons races are at Altamont, CA, a circle track with a 1.1 mile road course. The other event at Flat Rock, MC is a .25 mile circle track.

That could open things up for many of the FL circle tracks.

Yes fully caged cars, safety equipment. Fire Ext etc..
Lower speeds.. on street tires..

Talking to 2 oval tracks now.. Found a great one but its closed.. RE having a usable infield to chage the lay out.

More to come.
