Well just go through NASA or SCCA . Am I correct? Or do you have to have anything besides them certifing you, like a certain amount of track events?

you can get signed off to solo in most clubs in a 2 day weekend. if you are good. when I was doing BMWCCA events I did not go solo untill I had several under my belt. in retrospect when I was younger it was good because I was too agressive now I'm older my first day with a new club they look at my experence and just sign me off. plus I'm an old slow fart now.

I won the unlimited class today.
yes, competition licenses are now NOT A NECESSITY, this is how it is going to work starting in august;
2 day event; sat.-test/tune check rides(drivers ride with you to gauge ur ability) {{{i got there early today and josh did a ride-along with me and passed me}}}}
-----------sun.--practice sessions/hot laps==3 hot laps+1 best time=winnnnarrrrrr

yeah i got a spec miata. nothing great at all. only gonna run spec for prob a few season's, then rebuild and change to another class. but she should do ok in time attack not sure if i will tho lol.

What were the classes and how did they define them?
