240's are good cars. Don't be a pussy.
Registration is still open for a couple days for the NASA event. https://www.nasaproracing.com/nasa_e.../?event_id=404
And after that you have the PCA event on the 27th in Zephyrhills.

comparatively speaking my car is terrible for autocross but I still have had a lot of fun at the two events I've gone to
get out, have fun, then decide what you want to do.
just based on what I have seen and heard, miatas are pretty damn good (cheap as hell to boot) as is the s2000.

since a Miata, S2000, Mini, etc will spank the shit out of it
I'm speaking of the E46 M3 here btw. The E36 M3 is a better autocross car -- at the least it is 200lbs+ lighter than the 3400lb E46. The only thing the E46 has over it is looks (imo!) and a more powerful motor.

Even getting the E46 M3 down to 3200lbs, isnt that still like 1000lbs heavier than a Miata? Of course my car has a decent amount of HP, but the last two autocross events havent seemed very HP-favorable. I know I'm new but you fuckers in your lighter cars can really whip around cones -- I think my car would need at least the forementioned mods + more skill on my part to be able to pull that off
