Default First American Iron win

I was at the Hyper-fest weekend held by the Mid-Atlantic region of N.a.s.a
and won my first race in the class. they had a lot going on including some drifting, spec Miata class and a bikini contest.

Sat. I qualified 1st in A.I. but on the pace lap I discovered the hard way that I forgot to put the hood pins in a quick stop on pit lane and some held and I was off, although in 43rd spot. I made it up to 10th but then the race was red flagged for a 4 car wreck.

Sun. I was qualified 3rd but by the 3rd lap was in first and led the rest of the way to a 8 sec. lead over 2nd. what a blast of a weekend it was.

Good deal!! And glad you finished in one piece.

Glad you wern't at Road America last weekend for the Brian Redman Classis.

There was carnage before the green flag fell on the big bore race. Looks like a million dollar pileup. Look here to see what the idiots with money and no sense can do.

Leonard, yes we do go to Mid-Ohio, in fact I've been there twice in the last 12 months. what a great track it is, I highly suggest running it if you can, its a real challenge. Its about an 8 hr tow for me though.

I saw that deal at the BRC, what a shame, there are some nice cars in that mess.

The next time you're headed that way, let me know. I'm looking at houses on the north side of Columbus, so I'll be within an hour drive.
