I never really understood why, if someone were to buy a car simply for fun, and had a little money to spend, would buy a Ferrari or something of the like over one of these, or a Caterham Super 7, or even something like Leanard's kit car. All of the speed and fun (perhaps moreso) with not nearly the cost.

I guess it's because a Super 7 doesn't carry the "prestige" and name that Ferrari does. But any real motoring enthusiast could care less about those.

Typically, people who buy Ferarri's buy them as a sign of their wealth. It's the big wallet with a small penis syndrome.

Anyone want to campaign one of those with me next year in the One Lap of America? I don't think we will have any problems with that for 3300 miles of interstate driving. Good news is no front bumper to collect Love Bugs in the spring in Florida.

BTW Aerial the manf. just signed a deal to import them to the US with spec Type R motor at 220 bhp or the supercharged version at 300.

Yeah, instead they'll fly up your pants leg and get stuck in your crotch.

I sent that link to my 14-year-old son. He immediately went to Google to convert 20k pounds to dollars!

That's an awesome ride.
