what event at sebring on Jan. 8th ?
 

I seached google, and all over sebring's website... Any info would be great.

CFR SCCA is holding a National Club Race event at Sebring on the 8th and the 9th. They are using the full, 12hr circuit.

Thanx a million. E-mailed sebring. They said I could " watch from the fence", but can't go where the cars are.

Still going, just to check the track out, if nothing else..

SCCA has a building at the entrance to the track which serves as a registration building. Goto to the SCCA building, look for a line that says workers/members. Talk nice to the registrar, and they may give you a pass to enter the track. Tell them that you are interested in SCCA, you are considering becoming a member, and you would like to see what it is like. If they charge for the pass it may be as little as $5. The worse thing that could happen is that they say no.

Goto www.cfrscca.org/forms/SebNatJan05.pdf to see when registration is open, and read the schedule and supplementary regs (page 3). Also print a copy of the schedule so you can see the order of the races.

Have fun. I was going to go there this weekend to dumpster dive for tires for my formula cars, but am going to Ohio tomorrow to pick up a Toyota Formula Atlantic motor for a car that I am crew chief on.

Haha, that's funny. Don't worry, you'll be able to get in. People don't hang out outside of the pits at a Club race. I'll be there Saturday to hang out.
