What class do I fall under?
Little confused on what class I would be under. My mods are
Suspension: FRPP C Springs, KYB shocks/struts, BBK caster/camber plates, UPR 2 pt k member brace, Steeda rear upper steal control arms Engine: Stock shortblock with a mild cam, mildy ported stock heads, Intake, throttle body, kn filter, full exhaust Leslie suggested STS or SM? Doesnt really matter what I go into, im just out to have fun, not win any trophies. |
Sorry I wasn't more useful. I dont' know what some of the more little nit picky mods can bump you into.......just stick with novice for now anyways.

SM or CP.
As soon as you touch the heads or cams, you're playing with the big boys. :( |
SM but now that neal's gone there are no "big boys" to play with
|
Leonard, you should know better...
K member throws you out of SM. CP or EM like you said, you have the right attitude... coming out to have fun and not to win, at least "yet". |
I havent touched the kmember, its still the factory one, if thats what you mean.
|
hmm, good point....i guess i read that wrong.
if you don't mind, I'm not too up-to-par on what a K-member brace would entail. Happen to have a picture? |

It runs from the driver to passenger frame rail and bolts in with the k-member. IIRC, Ford used them on all of the fox convertibles and I recall my 01 cobra having one stock. There's a couple of aftermarket options that are stronger. Here's an example. There's an SM rule against connecting the frame rails, but I think this is allowable since they were available stock. http://www.maximummotorsports.com/kbrace.asp |
