3 10's vs 2 12's vs 1 15 subs
Im lookin into getting Kicker L5's this is the space I have to work with- W"35 X L"21 X H"17. Im lookin for SPL here but need a lil help on deciding what size speakers to use. I will also need someone to build me the box. Ported box is kinda out of the question because of the limited space I have and I personally like the sound of a sealed box. What combination of speakers will get me the highest DB? Im lookin more into the 2 12's but what do u guys think? Any help is appreciated

why sealed? do a ported box! ill design one for you.. but if you MUST have a sealed box go with 3 10's cause its more conearea then 2 12's..

^^my problem with ported is lack of air space.2 L5 12's ported would b ideal if I have enough room. What do u guys think?

you could do ported.. 5.2 cubic foot @ 29 hrtz or with alittle bigger port 5.0 cubic foot @ 33 hrtz
|
if you're wanting more spl, ported would be the way to go...
