parallel the subs with themselves then connect to amp.

Since you have DVC subwoofers (2) and the amp can't go into 1ohm, you're screwed. They will only go down as low as 4ohms.

Planning before buying things could have prevented this. Now you're only going to get whatever power output the amp can put out at 4ohms.

LOGIC? You seriously want to invoke logic in a conversation about fake hijackings, missiles hitting the pentagon, and bombs planted throughout the world trade center? I thought it was a given that logic was checked at the door when entering one of these threads.

My reading comprehension isn't so good these days.

Glad you got that all situated.

Probably isn't as loud because it might not be tuned properly? Half the power gains are just from tuning the amp properly and checking things with multimeters to check and make sure everything is going the way it should.

its a dual 4 sub run the let channel to the right and out to the amp if it a dual 2 you run the left neg to the right pos with one wire and run the bottom left pos and right neg to your amp .

on the speaker wire positive to positive then to the positive on amp. Do the same on the negative. It is called parallel. It will give you a load of 2 ohms.

ive got a question, i ran the speaker like this Subwoofer Wiring Diagrams. i cant remember if i ran the wires from the amp going to the speaker to the same terminal instead of one on each terminal. the picture shows how i did it. should i have put either the neg or positive wire coming from the amp on the opposite side and have the jumper wire running on the other side?
