hey i am hooking up a cd player in my new car where the person before cut the harness off so now i have to go thru and find which wire is which. I found ever wire but the memory so all i can do now just have the memory spliced with the power just so it will turn on. Does any one know another way i can get the memory wire to work and actually let me keep my radio stations programmed after I turn the car off??

 

Grab a multimeter and test for a constant, can't find one then go to the fuse box. If all else fails you can run a wire directly from your battery.

 

o ok so the memory wire just needs to be hooked up 2 a hot wire that doesnt turn off??

 

check fuse under hood, these pop all the time!

 

its just a 12v constant wire.. its not a smart wire or somthing

 

what kind of car is it?

 

92 integra this is my first integra i have had civics crxs nissans but no integras. I havent even seen the fuse box yet
