Default Need Help

ok this is probably a stupid question to u guys but im going to ask any ways. i have 2 600w subs(aftermarket) and a 1600w amp(also aftermarket) and i know someone selling a box that goes flush with a cavalier trunk. its for 2 subs and im sure it has a divider inside of it. but ya it was built for his subs specs for space (1.1-1.3 ft of air space per chamber). it was 2 Alpine Type R 1500 watt 12's. well it work good with my subs????

technically it'd work if it fit.

It'd probably sound 'OK' but not the best, because the box was made to spec for some other subs, not yours.

Look up and compare your box and the reccomended by ur sub manufacturer. the less difference the better ;p

LOGIC? You seriously want to invoke logic in a conversation about fake hijackings, missiles hitting the pentagon, and bombs planted throughout the world trade center? I thought it was a given that logic was checked at the door when entering one of these threads.

if it's a sealed box, it's not going to make a HUGE difference either way. check the manufacturer's specs for box size, as long as you're not under that, you're good to go... and hell, when in doubt... polyfill.

It's impossible to say not knowing what kind of subs you have. But generally, 1 cube of air space works for the average 12" sub.
