Compvr ported or sealed

got 2 compvr 12's i have been told that comprvr's arent supposed to be ported.

Does anyone have ported compvr's or got any advice

Sealed or Ported

Sealed. Ported is so 80's.

I have a compvr 10" ported. Ported is going to be louder, however I prefer sealed.

ported will be louder but a sealed box will give you tighter lower bass
