Question Which box setup do you prefer?

Sealed? Ported? Bandpass? Which do you prefer and why?

I'm not sure which I want to use, I'm leaning a little more towards ported right now.

ported. takes less power to push the subs and you don't give up as much quality as you would in a bandpass. it also depends on the subs.

I personally dislike bandpass boxes cause they sound like ass. I love ported all my boxes have been ported. but with some u cant play low bass cause the subs bottom out. ported is more pressure. sealed pounds harder

ported is great if built right, but the drawback to ported is that like high tech said, at the extreme ends of the frw range it cna get alittle loose

also ported = larger ^3/ft and sometimes pita to build

I went sealed, I think it will sound better with my hatch. Got it tonight but it was raining so I couldn't hook everything up . Hopefully it will be nice and sunny tomorrow.

What Blazer?

I prefer sealed cause I like the cleaner sound, that fact that it's easier to build, and takes up the least amount of space.
