wastegate size
TiAL 46mm PwNZ Joo!
46MM Wastegate Features
Features include:
Nickel based alloys for valve and Inconel valve housing offer superior product life under the most demanding conditions. (Turbo rotary applications 2000F (1093C) + exhaust temperatures)
High temperature silicone Nomex reinforced actuator diaphragm
17-7 PH stainless steel actuator spring gives consistent pressure at high temperature, resists "relaxing" at temperature to 900F (483C)
Nitronic 60 stainless steel is used for the valve seat, valve bushing, and lower housing hardware
Color for the anodized aluminum actuator is typically Titanium gray standard.
(Red, Blue, Violet available when in season, or may be special order, 2-4 weeks)
We only stock 0.8 Bar (11.6psi) spring pressure
Note, we try to stock all color, but sometime we don't have that specific color you want. So when ordering, please specify second color choice.
Price is $455
Price for 46mm HP $ 500

ok, that was pointless...
Im a firm beleiver in the school of "Overkill" and "Overbuilt" and that WG is overkill... so, thus, its not pointless. and i can guaran-damn-tee you that spikes and creep will be just a rumor for that turbo setup.

I can agree with you in that scenario but overkill is not always the best option. Properly sizing items that have to operate within an efficiency range is very important, being over or under sized can cause you problems in those cases. Not saying thats what you meant, but just wanted to get that out their for people.
thank you, seriosly, a 46mm wastegate to run no more than 10psi. it is pointless to run. i have a 38mm and i have no spike or boost creep. and i am running a 60-1 trim with lots more than 10psi. i was not trying to make fun, but in all reality, that is just too big of a wastegate for his application.

yea... i guess maybe ist a little TOOO much overkill. i have a 38mm but it creeps from 10 to 14 psi... so to keep myself from gettin pissed off, i just set my boost at 14 psi and never see it creep
