Gimongous Turbo in LS1 Vette
Stumbled across this thread at NASIOC today. Anyone care to wager how long the stock bottom end holds up with that thing functional? The builder of the car posts on the last two pages of the thread. Seems to really know his shit. I guess we'll see when he finally fires it up and puts it in gear.

On the fourth or fifth page, there are pics of the custom headers he's fabbing and a video of the car running, with turbine spinning. If this pans out, it will be a sick project car!

That is a LT1 not an LS1. Weather or not it will work remains to be seen.

Itll work... and itll lay down OVER 600 RWHP.
I was going to build an LT1/T66 single w/ custom headers for a 3rd Gen F-body (mullet mobile) and spec'd it out to hit 630 HP at the flywheel... so that Turbo will easily outdo the T66 i had planned.
