Default oil change on a turbo..

How full does the oil have to be on a turbo car? Inside the filter?

you know when you change oil on a turbo car.. and how the turbo has to have that oil startup in it already when it starts or you can burn up the spool or whatever..I was just asking when changing out the oil of a turbo how much oil do you dump in the oil filter when changing? Its not the same as a na car when changing the oil.

the whole oil supply system in a motor pressurizes in less than 2 seconds after u start the car. after a motor has been run(unless its been sitting there for weeks untouched) there is always enough oil remaining in the moving parts for a safe, lubricated startup everytime, including the turbo. the only time this is a factor is with brand new parts. most turbos come pre-lubed for startup anyway
