I met Linda as a young stupid teen and she schooled me and set me straight. A sweet, intelligent and moral valued Woman. I will never forget that day Linda because of you my Life took the good path. Your not just beautiful on the outside but beautiful inside. You are very wise and have a Heart of Gold. Maybee thats why you will always be Miss golden shifter (no pun intendid) anyway I hope your Healthy and happy because this 65yr old teen Loves you for the amazing Woman you are. God bless

Drag Racing USA Presents "Here's Linda" - Auto Racing's Golden Girl Miss Hurst Linda Vaughn! here is a cool one from the archives, a vintage magazine that was dedicated to Linda Vaughn. We all know Hurst is the company that created the iconic shifter and many other speed parts, but the marketing in racing for their success goes to Linda Vaughn. This vintage magazine is from 1970 and is jam packed full of photos and her life story.

This is a pretty rare publication and is highly sought after by vintage drag racing fans. To accompany the Hurst racing theme, the slideshow background sounds are from a vintage 1964 drag racing LP called "Hurst Takes You To The 64 Nationals". Drag racing from the 1964 NHRA Nationals and has a ton of interviews from Wally Parks, Don Garlits, and many more! I hope you enjoy this classic blast from the past, there will be more like it from time to time. Enjoy!
