97 Civic w/ 98 JDM ITR Swap
Selling my Civic since I needed a little more room and wanted to go the modern route. This has been a great car for me since 2006 and I know it will continue for the next driver.
Details:
Chassis - 150,000 miles
Swap - 16,900 miles
The Good:
Engine: JDM 98-spec B18C purchased from Tiger Japanese, rebuilt with .025 oversize factory Honda pistons
- K&N Typhoon Intake
- ARP Head Studs
- Greddy Timing Belt
- Mizu Radiator & Hoses
- Raxles Conversion Axles
- Honda Shift Linkage
- Energy Suspension Shift Linkage Bushings
- 2.5'' Exhaust finished with a factory S2000 Twin Loop (sounds good but nice and quiet)
Interior - 9.5/10 - I've been keeping it clean and had the headliner professionally redone not long ago.
Wheels - Buddy Club P1 SF 16x7
Tires - Continental ExtremeContactDW 205/45/16 70% Tread Life
*Full-size, identical matching spare
Suspension - BC Racing BR Type Coilovers
Camber - Buddy Club Front and Rear Kits
LCA's - Blox
Hood - AIT Carbon
Tint - 15% All-around
Audio - Pioneer DEHP600UB Head Unit to Basic Pioneer Replacement Speakers
Belts - New from Napa
Working A/C!!!
The "Might Want to Work on In Your Spare Time":
Paint - Had it done several years ago, wasn't the greatest prep-work so the clear is starting to lift on the roof, trunk
Brakes - Everything works fine, but they're stock so if you really want to run the car they might be worth upgrading
LCA Bushings - Almost gone on the Blox rear arms, just need to be replaced
Trunk Seal - Probably needs some silicone around the edge or a new one entirely. She drips a bit when it pours really hard.
Other Notes:
- If you drive it hard, it will eat up a little oil. Nothing crazy, I drove it all the way to New Mexico over the summer and needed about a half quart on the way.
- The clutch was replaced shortly after the swap by Crown Acura in Clearwater.
- I've always been particular about maintenance, it's had nothing but Royal Purple changed at regular intervals.
Plain and simple, this is an awesome car and I feel that it will work great for the next driver. I feel that the price is fair and if you have any questions about it, just let me know. I'm located in Palm Harbor. Thanks for the read!
PRICE: $6,500
