The original 1.8t motor was blown when I bought the car. I replaced it and the Turbo with a 1.8t out of a 2003 New Beetle Turbo S model that had 88000 miles (have receipt) on it when it was installed in December of last year, a new timing belt, water pump & belt tensioner were put in at this time also..
The rest of the car has approximately 160xxx miles on it.

The bad: the turbo in the car is going out (it is smoking and leaking oil} the motor is fine still runs great. Just the Turbo needs to be replaced. With a new one (about $750.00, I have a line on a used one with 50K miles for $250.00)
whatever you want to do with it.

The body is in decent shape, a few dings here and there, Tires are about 3 months old. A/C blows cold. Heated seats.


Nice Black Leather Interior, needs a new head liner.
