Default E36 coupe e36v8motorsports

1997 318is black coupe 5 speed runs great cold ac. I have been building a v8 motor swap using the e36v8motorsports swap kit and a ford 5.0. I was laid off a few months back and can't afford to finish building the swap. Looking for s13 or a truck but will consider other trades.

The car is a great daily driver as is. It handles amazing and gets great gas mileage.

Here is a list of what's done to the car

Bc racing coilovers
Power stop cross drilled and slotted rotors
Ceramic pads
Ecs tuning stainless steel brake lines
Megan racing adjustable rear trailing arms
New factory front lower control arms and ball joints
New factory tie rods
Febi control arm bushings
Generic rear strut tower brace
Medium case diff conversion (3.91)
Rolled fenders
Esm 004 wheels 17x8 all 4 corners ( gold centers polish lip )
Nitto nt05 235 40 17 all 4 corners
Fast 12mm hub centric spacers up front
8mm spacers in the back
Wheel stud conversion with lock nuts
M3 front bumper ( not painted yet )
Fog light block off plates ( wiring still intact )
Alpina style rear bumper lip
M5 style trunk lip
New factory corner lights
New factory side markers
Dj auto glass housing euro style headlights
Ddm tuning 6000k hid kit
BMW zhp shift knob
Factory 6x9 rear speaker conversion
Alpine head unit
Lancer evo 8 recaros
Vintage momo cavalino steering wheel
Tinted windows

Here is a list of what comes with the swap

E36v8motorsports swap kit ( motor mounts trans mount and instructions on disk )
Ford 5.0 ho short block rebuilt by Godwin singer ( new timing chain and gear set, all new bearings, new piston rings, brass freeze plugs, polished crank, factory forged pistons and rods, fel-pro gasket kit )
World class t5 trans ( out of 1993 mustang gt )
Ireland engineering motor mount bushings
Ford explorer upper and lower intake manifold
B&m short shifter
Transdapt oil filter relocation kit
Msd street fire distributor
Msd street fire plug wires
Canton windage tray
Mustang shorty headers
Ford racing roller lifters
Cnc hydro slave cylinder conversion
Summit racing aluminum radiator
Radiator mount brackets
All an fittings for power steering
Russell braided hose
Ford racing pp bolt and dowel kit
Ford racing pilot bearing
Fidanza 13 lb flywheel with replaceable friction surface
Arp flywheel bolts
Pioneer trans mount bushing
Melling oil pump with shaft
E6 heads

The bad

Drivers side lock punched in ( someone tried to break in to the car. Locksmith said $100 to fix. $50 for the cylinder and $50 for the rekeying of the cylinder to work with existing key )
There is a small dent in the drivers rear quarter panel ( I think it could be removed by a paintless dent remover )
The front bumper needs paint ( new and unpainted )
The interior isn't great. ( the door panels are out of the car one has been recovered and one needs to be redone )

I'm sure I'm forgetting some stuff. I will update if I think of anything else.

Out of curiosity, what are you missing to complete the swap?

Also, do you still have the stock seats?

I have the stock seats and they are in pretty good shape.

Parts left to finish swap

Ecu
Wiring Harness
Clutch
Sensors
Alternator
Water pump
Power steering pump
Belts
Custom drive shaft
Custom Exhaust
Custom Intake

I would do after market aluminum heads they drop the weight of the engine by around 90lbs and add a good amount of hp.

I think the swap could be completed including the heads for around $2500 if you only use new parts. If you use the stock heads and buy new clutch and junk yard the rest of the parts you could finish it for around $1000.

If he buys it and you have the seats left over, I'll take them off your hands. Been looking for a set of seats for my e36. Bump it up for a fellow e36 owner, can't believe you're selling her.

Thanks for the bump! If you are talking about the stock seats I'll let them go really cheap.
