Are you using a SOHC motor or DOHC? I have a 97 LS 5spd ecu.

Its for a SOHC ZC motor. Im getting it running right for a friend who paid someone to swap it into a EX and it has the stock p2p vtec ecu in it and wont let it rev past 4k since its got the engine light on.I have a 99 teg ecu as well but havent tried it yet. how to sohc's do with dohc ecu's ? I have always worked on dohc shuff so i havent tried it in the past. vance how have you been doing ??

Doing good Nate. I'm not sure what would work best either. Keep in mid the Y7 ecu is set to use smaller factory injectors (190cc).

ya I figured a dohc ecu would make it dump to much fuel. Its throwing tons of check engine codes but I need the right ecu before I start fixing the wiring to all the sensors. With that ecu throwing vtec code it will never run right. Some one has to have a non vtec D16 D15 obd2 ecu laying around. Ima try the ls ecu I haver tomorrow and see how it runs.
