Default Volunteering for a team

I read that a good way to get into drifting is to volunteer for a team. How do you go about doing this? Is there anyone here on a drift team that can tell me what to do to start volunteering? Any help is appreciated.

Get a rwd car n go to events. Then get to know the locals. Where are you from?

This, a lot of us have earned out place on our teams (Crews) by going to the events and getting our name out there.
