well... i have a 1992 honda prelude si.... i installed a couple lips. and lowered it about 2 inches... and added a skid plate on the bottom... the car cranks perfectly and runs with ease.. no idling problem or anything... when i drive it, it back fires a little and wont accelerate like it should... it wont go over 50 mph in 5th gear and bein floored.... its my project for a while until i can get this figured out... i have replaced the timing belt and got timing fixed on it... i have checked to make sure all the plugs and wires are not crossed. and i changed the spark plugs... and ideas??? please help me if you know what i can do to fix this problem im having... i love this car and would really like to get it runnin

 

does this sound like the catillac converter??
