F/S F/T SLAMMED '89 Honda Civic Sedan
READ CAREFULLY BEFORE YOU CALL
THIS IS AN OLD THREAD. Made it over 5 months ago...Car now has 310k miles.
Ok TR I just got this car as a reliable dd to get me around til August when I get my real car.Price is NEW PRICE $800 OBO or trade for a crx

1989 Honda Civic DX Sedan
310k on cluster and counting, it is my DD, 200k+ on the motor.
NO RUST In quarter panels...
Dual point D15B2
5 speed with a CRX SI Transmission
Good clutch
Lowered on OEM struts and Skunk2 coilovers
Pretty Clean interior
Runs good, Doesnt knock, tick, make any noise... gets over 35 mpg
Great DD Id drive it anywhere doesnt overheat just runs like a champ.... Not in a rush to get rid of the car just seeing whats out there...Ive now drove the car over 2k miles with ZERO issues, just did a oil change...
BAD
smokes, burns oil everynow n then I imagine it needs valve seals, 200k+ on the motor....
3rd gear grinds if u go in at high rpm....
IT JUST STARTED TO NOT WANT TO GO IN GEAR. I JUST DID THE CLUTCH CABLE A WEEK AGO, N I THINK I STRETCHED THIS ONE TOO. IDK BUT IM DONE WITH THIS CAR I BEEN WAITING FOR SOMETHING ELSE TO GO WRONG BEFORE I BOUGHT SOMETHING ELSE.
A/C JUST took a shit, Everthing is there just Think its the compressor being old & tired....
Could use a front bumper Idk if you like the grill cut out look...Should have a MINT one on there soon...
Small dents in the rear qp n door not too noticeable, pics below....
Bushings up front need to be changed makes noise from the suspension every now n then, I mean its still a great car for how old it is, just cruises NEVER overheatsI love this car its not the cleanest but will NEVER let you down
