whats the differnce between the ap1 an the ap2 an do they both comes with LSD??

 

i know the s2k has had 2 engines f20c and f22c

ap2ssss are quicker then ap1ss...they just have the uglier seats lol...

 

Ap1 2.0 liter 9k rev limit - Ap2 2.2 liter 8k rev limit
Ap2 of course makes a lil bit power out of the box.
Personally myself id get a ap1 & rev higher.

 

yea and ap1s got sexier seats...unless u jus get the ap2 and convert the seats and figure out how u can set it upp to rev jus like the ap1..

 

AP2 more TQ FTW my buddy has had ap1&2 and he said 2 ALL THE WAY. i rode in his ap2 with only a test pipe and him as a good driver pulled mazda speed 3's all day(stock ones)

 

anyone try the 2.4 stroker kit in it?

 

ap2 are better ,, front bumper and headlights look alot better and if you buy a ap1 and want to convert front end fenders are 350 each front bumper is 180 and headlights are 700 buck and you have to modify them to fit the ballast ,and front bumper support has to be notched so it wont put holes in the bumper ,,ive done a few front conversions on s2's . but last year i had a ap1 that i swapped the 2.2 in and it rode really good other than having ugly seats ,ugly front end, and center console where shifter is looks horrible to the new CR's

 

and if your gonna put money into it id just get valvetrain or really just valve springs and new retainers and dont miss a gear cause alot of people drop valve or over rev s2's and miss gears , the rest of people crash them , ive seen more crashed s2's this year than any other car and thats how i kno how to do the front end conversion.
