Hey whats up TR, here I'm selling a D16 Y8 vtec cylinder head, block, etc from a 99 civic ex, this motor came off of my moms car, which decided it to take a turn for the worse. Basically the cylinder head is good, the block needs to be weld b/c of a fracture from a rod breaking apart and the oil pan busted. The pictures are shown speaks for itself, I took enough to show detail, hopefully it helps for whoever is looking for something to rebuild and use as a project or as a backup motor. I'm asking for $300 obo.

how much abuse has that thing seen...for the rod to come out the bottom of the oil pan.

 

my mothers civic had about 130k miles when this happen...this motor can be up and running, just needs a new rod and the block needs a little welding done to it and a new oil pan...appreciate you asking...thanks

appreciate that Low, well you never know, and thats why i have OBO on there as well, but at least someone can make an offer for the head portion at least if need be, so is just playing the waiting game you know, or if anyone needs a part off the motor, they can always ask, which never hurts, thanks again LowSi

 

np man glad u understood were i was coming from prob i would say honestly just put the head up for sale at 100 firm with dizzy and intake mani, and give the block to buyer of head as a bonus lol
