Default Dyno & Build: Toyota Supra

Thanks to Victor, Chevy and JR for getting this done

Victor and I went down to Miami to pick this Supra up as we offer a towing service to our out of town customers. We were to fix a few issues, tune for E85, install Weldon fuel pressure regulator, turbo blanket, wire lockup for stall converter, change transmission fluid, install TOM's coilovers. We went to the dyno. Found the converter wasn't up to par. Ended up selling the TOM's coilovers, installing a Titan stall converter, switch to Brad Penn Racing Oil and everything else mentioned prior. Here's the results

Car: Toyota Supra

Motor: Stock 2JZ-GTE

Fuel: Pump E85

Mods: Stock bottom end, stock head, HKS 264 camshafts, HKS exhaust manifold, Turbonetics T72 turbocharger, Blitz front mount intercooler, 3" downpipe, 3" exhaust, Precision 1000cc fuel injectors, Bosch 044 in-tank fuel pumps (2), AEM Twin-Fire ignition amplifier, Boost Logic built Toyota automatic transmission, Titan Motorsports 3500 stall converter and AEM EMS tuned by Alpha

Notes: The Turbonetic's T72 is more than a few years old and has developed a little shaft play. Boost pressure was 27lbs - 28lbs

An auto putting out 650whp is really no joke. It would take a 6 speed well into the 700+whp range to keep up. I did 60mph roll pulls and I can't even believe how fast I got to 120mph and the needle was not slowing at all which it used to do with the PI converter. My car used used to die off it felt like.. Respect these cars people. After yesterday I have been really thinking about selling the car or maybe even asking Alpha to put the car back into the 500whp range because the car is so fast. I covered so much highway so fast I can't even stop talking about it. I ran a guy yesterday in a brand new GTR and I spanked him so bad it is not even worth posting in the Kill section b/c no one will believe me how bad I beat him. I take my car out like once a month if that and I could not believe a ran across a GTR who actually wanted to run.

I guess the moral of this story is that the Titan converter is one mod I really suggest all auto guys to look into.

Exactly. Without Victor, Chevy and JR this car wouldn't have been done as good as it was
