Default How serious do you guys take Honda decals and apparel?

I'm trying to figure out wether or not I want to start a Honda/JDM/USDM decal and apparel business. There's places where everyone can get decals, but they are all pretty much the same. Just slight changes. So I was wondering does anyone take this stuff seriously. Like do you think there should be more Honda beanies, t-shirts, wristbands, decals posters, and so on? Would you buy them? Do you look for them or want them? Or is it more like ehh, if its there then maybe, but if not its whatever? Any opinions?

my lag is your courtesy head start

ATTENTION.... installing a head gasket, head studs or pistons and rods in your otherwise STOCK engine dose not make it a "built" engine! stop listing you cars for sale saying they are built when its not!!

I see stickers on cars all the time and people asking if theres any honda apparel companies so I am wondering if there is a market out there or not. But not just jdm or usdm or whatever. All honda in general. Is this a gap that needs to be filled or not?

I'd think about rocking a beanie or a visor but that's about it.

I have a set of Honda mechanic gloves, the shirt, a beanie, a FIT military cap, a mechanic shirt (from Honda thanks to Steve), and a keychain, a belt, air valve stem caps, Honda patches (never was able to find another set anywhere) and a whole lot of other stuff. In fact the cover to my book has my SOHC Honda engine on it.

If you do a business, call Honda and get in touch with their legal department for permission to use the Honda symbol. I had no problems getting legal permission for the cover of my book and I even got permssion from DC Header.

Their legal team does pursue those using the Honda logo without permission. Just look at hmotorsonline.com which use to be hondamotorsonline.com.

btw I would be interested to see what you come up with.

I see people out there spending money on the car to improve it … If you spend half that effort just working on your driving skills, making you and the car work together as a team, then you’ll go faster – period. To make the car go a second faster on the track takes a lot more energy and money than making yourself drive it one second faster.
