well when you have to play "catch up" in the MPG world Japanese technology suddenly starts making sense on your non econo box cars.

Ford has had ecotech for awhile haven't they?

they are trying hard to compete with the new Camaro sales.

I see people out there spending money on the car to improve it … If you spend half that effort just working on your driving skills, making you and the car work together as a team, then you’ll go faster – period. To make the car go a second faster on the track takes a lot more energy and money than making yourself drive it one second faster.

ah for some reason i thought it was Ford. then again when do i pay close attention to the domestic automakers. lol.

anyway. during the 24 hours of daytona rolex race we noticed that chevy had 2 new camaros running. they did well. i wonder what goodies they were testing in their engines that weekend.

can you find an aritcle about this Ford stuff?

Ecotec is nothing like a VTEC/VVTI system.
