i thought the 88-89 are diff from the 90-91 Crx si's??

the splines or something like that....

Nope, I have had 9 CRX's, all Si's. Well Once I had a boosted HF GSR, don't think that has anything to do with this though. Si and HX are the same, HF is different. Axle splines are different.

88 is diff than 89-91. clutch spline count is diff.

^ +1 on that

Correct me if wrong but SI/DX trannys are the same for rexes as far as gear ratios go but 88 is the only odd ball due to spline count.
