I just want to let people know that I drove 3 hours to get a transmission that he said was a 91' crx si tranny and it turned out to be a 88'. I would never buy from him again. He seemed really cool. but, I should of figured he was shady when the orginal transmission was going to get from him magically went from being in his storage unit to "oh, I ended up selling that to my friend' overnight. He then told me he "found" a 91 si transmission for me and assured me 3 times that is was a 91'.

now the $400 clutch I had for a 90+ d-series is wasted.

 

should have just punched him in the face and left, after you stole all the money in his wallet for gas money.

I didn't realize it till I got home. I didn't think to check the spline count since he told me it was from a 91'. I didn't see any reason to lie about it so I just believed him and took it home. I usually just trust people and I guess that was my problem.
