I am about to buy a 91 prelude si shell and need a motor! I am looking for a motor with low miles and NO MECHANICAL PROBLEMS!! I am looking for a motor that i can drop right in the car, start up, and take off. Perferably stock but if not thats ok. I can get a j-spec B21 with less than 50,000 miles on it from japan for 1k shipped.Dont feel like dealing with it. If you have one,know of one or know where to get one lmk. I have up to $500 .

There is a B20a1 and a B21a1 wich was used in US/japan/Canada. The B21 was used in the si.They only used it for a couple years,because it sucks down oil! But there still bad ass motors and I NEED ONE.If you can please help me out.THANKS

 

i've owned a couple prelude's with B21 swaps and you cant even tell any diff. ! they run the same as the stock B20a5. not worth the money you pay for jdm!!! lol
i just bought an B20a5 from a guy in here a lil while back, and i'm about to put it in the car soon.
maybe i canmake you a deal on the whole car and motor.
it's a clean 91 si.

a b20 will be a better bet, i wouldn't bother with the b21 quite honestly, but i might know a guy
